HONG KONG TRADE DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL

HONG KONG TRADE DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL

As a statutory body established in 1966, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is the global marketing arm and public service hub for Hong Kong-based manufacturers, traders and service providers.  The Council’s Chicago Office promotes trade and investment ties between Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and 20 Midwestern states.    With 51 offices globally, including 13 in Mainland China, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub, including a platform for doing business with the ASEAN region.  The HKTDC organizes trade fairs, international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via research reports and digital news channels.
