CONSULATE GENERAL OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA IN CHICAGO
Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania in Chicago is one of the four diplomatic missions of Lithuania to the United States. One of the main goals of the Consulate is to advance the economic interests of Lithuania in the United States: to facilitate bilateral trade, to attract American companies to do business in Lithuania, and to promote inbound tourism.

VIDMANTAS VERBICKAS acts as a Counselor for economic affairs at the Consulate General of Lithuania in Chicago since 2019. After obtaining his Master’s Degree in Engineering and Economics from Kaunas Technology University he was working in various businesses in marketing, international sales, technical and line manager fields for the tourism, apparel and publishing companies. As a diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Lithuania, starting 1998, he is responsible for the bilateral economic cooperation with foreign countries. He was previously appointed as trade commissioner and commercial attaché to Poland and Belarus (two times).
