The Chicago International Trade Commissioners’ Association
The Chicago International Trade Commissioners’ Association (CITCA) is a volunteer-based organization founded in 1986. It is composed of Trade and Investment Representatives from foreign governments based in the Chicagoland area, with jurisdiction primarily over the Midwest region of the United States.
CITCA currently has over 50 members representing more than 40 countries worldwide. The organization serves as a valuable resource for companies interested in expanding their business in the Midwest or internationally.
Our mission is to facilitate meaningful connections between companies, support participation in trade shows, organize trade missions, and foster academic and innovation partnerships, among other initiatives.
CITCA’s current President, Pierre Wellhoff (Representative of France), was elected by the Board of Directors in March 2024.

Invite companies to participate in trade shows and forums in the US or abroad.
Share information of potential bid opportunities for key projects to be developed Worldwide.
